NLCDC is working on the conservation and promotion of lakes and wetlands through technical study and research, preparing the master plan, measuring the depth of lakes, preparing a management plan, testing water quality, conducting environmental impact assessments, eutrophication mapping, vulnerability mappings like pollution-reducing essential activities in the lakes and wetlands and promote them as tourist destinations as per their values.
